Our management team comprised of professionals with experience in leadership, corporate recruiting, executive search management, human resources, and employee relations–a multilevel of disciplines in one source–that is HumCap.

Tad McIntosh
President & CEO

Tad founded HumCap LP in 2001 with the desire to provide better service to new and established companies in areas of recruiting and human resource management. With 20 years of experience in organization leadership, recruiting and HR management, Tad brings a wealth of knowledge and direction to our team. Prior to founding HumCap LP, Tad was the chief talent officer at Broadband Gateways in Plano. Earlier, he spent five years as director of engineering recruiting services for Source Services, later acquired by Romac International (now known as Kforce).

Tad was a decorated officer in the Army. He served as the director of recruiting for the U.S. Army in Atlanta. Other assignments included The Pentagon, The U.S. Honor Guard in Washington, D.C., and The DMZ in South Korea. Tad completed his active duty service as a captain and then awarded the Meritorious Service Medal. Tad earned the coveted Army Airborne, Ranger, and Air Assault qualifications.

Tad earned a Bachelor of Science degree in systems engineering from West Point and received master’s degree from Central Michigan University. Other leadership positions include numerous philanthropic and community organizations like Young Entrepreneurs Organization, Highland Park Presbyterian Church, The West Point Society of North Texas, YMCA, Boy Scouts of America, The Challenged Athletes Foundation and serves on the Advisory Council for the Entrepreneurs Foundation of North Texas. Tad spends his personal time with his family and participating in triathlons around the country. He successfully completed the 2001 Hawaiian Ironman World Championships.

Rorry Phillips
Director of HR Services

Rorry brings 13 years of experience in accounting, operations, and human resources management to the HumCap team. Before joining HumCap in 2005, Rorry held leadership positions within manufacturing companies and health care organizations. He served as director of human resources for HOYA Vision Care’s North American division, where he led the human resources department serving 1,200 employees. As human resource director at IonBond LLC, a multi-state manufacturing company, Rorry was promoted from plant controller to corporate director of human resources.

Earlier, Rorry spent time as the business manager for a multi-organization management company managing the human resources, accounting and general administration departments. Rorry also has experience managing in the health care rehabilitation industry. Rorry earned a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology with a business minor from Texas Christian University. He is certified as SPHR (Senior Professional of Human Resources). He has served in leadership positions with the Dallas HR Management Association and the Career Connection HR Focus Group.
